The SDJ10 series lock is a mechanical anti-tampering device engineered specifically for AIRMASS DJ10 series liquid cylinder valves. Installed between the CGA fitting and the valve, it achieves irreversible locking through a special one-way bolt. The lock retains the standard CGA outlet connection, deters and prevents unauthorized removal of the CGA fitting while allowing authorized gas supplier plant personnel to replace worn fittings. Compliant with CGA SB-26 of the Compressed Gas Association, the SDJ10 is designed for medical and industrial liquid cylinders (LOX / LIN / LAR / LNG, etc.). The entire product line is fabricated from stainless steel and installs without valve disassembly, brazing, welding, or drilling.
| Working Principle
The SDJ10 lock operates on a one-way bolt irreversible locking principle:
Installation by Slip-On: The lock body is slipped over the CGA fitting at the valve outlet, with the internal hex engaging the hex flats of the fitting.
One-Way Bolt Tightening: The specially designed one-way bolt is driven into the threaded hole using a screwdriver. The bolt head features a unidirectional drive profile — it tightens in the forward direction only and cannot be gripped for reverse removal.
Locking Completed: The lock body fully encases and secures the CGA fitting. The standard CGA outlet connection remains fully usable, but the fitting can no longer be unscrewed from the valve.
Authorized Replacement: Authorized gas supplier personnel can break the bolt with specialized tools to replace a worn CGA fitting, then reinstall a new lock.

1: How do I quickly select between SDJ10-1, -2, and -3?
A: Match by CGA fitting number: CGA 295 → SDJ10-1 (W=22 mm); CGA 320 or CGA 440 → SDJ10-2 (W=24 mm); CGA 540 → SDJ10-3 (W=27 mm). If the fitting number is unknown, measure the hex flat width.
2. Is the lock body all stainless steel?
A: The entire SDJ10 line uses stainless steel; the image does not depict a brass variant. Stainless steel provides superior corrosion resistance in high-humidity and outdoor environments, making it well-suited for long-term deployment on medical and industrial liquid cylinders.
3. What special tools are required to install the SDJ10 lock?
A:None. A standard screwdriver suffices. No valve disassembly, brazing, welding, or drilling is required. Installation takes only a few minutes.
4. Can the CGA fitting still connect to a regulator or hose after the lock is installed?
A: Yes. The SDJ10 lock retains the standard CGA outlet connection interface. Regulators and hoses connect normally and gas delivery is unaffected. The lock only secures the threaded connection between the fitting and the valve body — it does not interfere with the outlet side.
5. How is a worn CGA fitting replaced after the lock is installed?
A: Authorized gas supplier plant personnel use specialized tools to break the one-way bolt, remove the lock body, replace the CGA fitting, and install a new lock. End users must not attempt this themselves.
