| Overview
The DJ10 series cryogenic globe valve is a manually operated shut-off valve used in pipeline systems of cryogenic liquid storage and transport equipment for LO2, LN2, LAr, LNG, etc. It opens and closes via handwheel rotation that drives the stem and disc upward/downward. Characterized by flexible operation, reliable sealing, and pressure/cryogenic resistance, it is widely used in cryogenic gas cylinders, Dewar tanks, vehicle-mounted insulated cylinders, and cryogenic pipeline systems.
| Working Principle
Open: Turn handwheel counterclockwise → Stem drives disc upward → PCTFE seal lifts off seat → Medium flows through.*
Close: Turn handwheel clockwise → Stem drives disc downward → PCTFE seal presses against seat → Passage shut off.*

Comment & FAQ
1: Can the DJ10 globe valve replace a safety valve?
A: Absolutely not. A globe valve is a manual shut-off valve for pipeline opening and closing. A safety valve is an automatic pressure relief protection device that opens automatically when pressure exceeds limits. Their functions are completely different; never substitute a globe valve for a safety valve.
2: Why won't the valve close tightly?
A: Foreign matter caught in seat (most common) → Disassemble and clean;
Worn or damaged PCTFE seal → Replace seal;
Worn stem threads causing insufficient closing travel → Repair or replace stem;
Ice formation on sealing surface after cryogenic use → Re-operate after thawing.
3: What is the difference between DJ10 and DJ10P?
A: The "P" suffix typically indicates a stainless steel body (CF8/304) version, suitable for media that may corrode brass or applications requiring higher cleanliness.
