The YDZ-200 eliminates the need for manual pouring or external pumps through its built-in self-pressurization system. By vaporizing a small amount of liquid nitrogen to generate pressure, the tank enables automatic discharge, allowing single-person operation and significantly boosting workflow efficiency. Whether for on-site liquid nitrogen replenishment or long-distance transport, this all-in-one design streamlines operations and reduces labor costs.
Featuring a high-vacuum insulation structure, the tank minimizes daily evaporation loss, extending the storage duration of liquid nitrogen. The use of corrosion-resistant austenitic stainless steel ensures structural integrity even in harsh low-temperature environments, while the reinforced vacuum cover and sorbent enhance thermal insulation performance. This durability translates to long service life and consistent performance in demanding applications.
Equipped with braking casters at the bottom, the YDZ-200 Liquid Nitrogen Tank offers smooth and stable movement within laboratories, factories, or medical facilities. It can be optionally fitted with a liquid nitrogen tank monitoring terminal and software, enabling remote transmission of liquid level, pressure data, and real-time alerts for low liquid levels or overpressure. Additionally, customizable accessories like low-temperature voltage regulators cater to specific user requirements.
Tank Inspection: Check the shell for dents or cracks, ensure the vacuum exhaust port is intact, and verify the interior is clean, dry, and free of foreign objects.
Accessory Check: Confirm lifting baskets and canes are undamaged, and the liquidometer (if equipped) has clear markings.
Pre-Cooling: For new or long-unused tanks, slowly inject 1/10 of the total capacity of liquid nitrogen for pre-cooling. Wait until boiling subsides before full filling.
Wear cryogenic-resistant gloves (cotton gloves prohibited), safety goggles, a long-sleeved lab coat, and pants covering ankles.
Operate in a well-ventilated area to avoid oxygen deficiency from nitrogen gas accumulation.
Use a dedicated funnel to pour liquid nitrogen slowly along the inner wall, controlling flow rate to prevent splashing. Do not fill beyond 80%-90% of total capacity.
Keep the lid open for ≤30 seconds per access to minimize nitrogen loss and temperature fluctuation.
Use baskets to handle samples gently, avoiding collisions with the neck tube. Allow residual liquid nitrogen to drip off after removal.
Clean the exterior with a dry, soft cloth. For long-term storage, empty the tank, warm to room temperature, rinse the liner with 40-50°C water, and air dry completely.

Liquid nitrogen itself is non-flammable and non-explosive. However, rupture may occur if the tank is hermetically sealed or the pressure relief valve fails, as liquid nitrogen vaporizes to 700 times its volume. Always use certified containers with functional pressure relief devices and never seal the tank mouth.
Liquid nitrogen’s -196°C temperature can cause severe frostbite. Always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including cryogenic gloves, face shields, long-sleeved coats, and ankle-covering pants. Avoid direct skin contact with the tank’s cold surfaces or splashed liquid nitrogen.
Monitor the liquid level regularly using a dipstick or weighing method. Replenish when the level drops below 30% or before stored samples are exposed to prevent temperature rise and sample damage.
